Ingredients
- 2 c. onions (approsimately 2½ large)
- 4 c. green tomatoes(8 medium)
- 4 cups. cabbage (1/2 large head)
- 3 cups red and green bell peppers (approximately 4 green and 2 red)
- ⅓ cup. salt
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 cups vinegar
- 1 cup water
- ½ tsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbs. mustard seed
- ½ tsp turmeric
Instructions
- Grind onions, green tomatoes, cabbage, red and green bell peppers coarsely.
- Sprinkle with salt let stand over night.
- Rinse and drain.
- Combine remaining ingredients. Simmer 3 minutes.
- Place in jars and seal.
