Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ c barbecue sauce (I prefer Bullseye)
- 1 cup grated cheese (of your choice...I use a jack/cheddar mixture)
- 2 pkgs crescent rolls
Instructions
- Crumble hamburger and brown with onions.
- Add salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- While it's cooking, get a cookie sheet and lay out the rolls as shown in the photo.
- When meat is no longer pink, drain grease and return to pan.
- Add brown sugar, barbecue sauce and cheese. Blend well and turn out into the center of the pan on the crescent rolls. (see picture)
- Then take the ends at the upper edge, cross them, and twist like a braid, adding a new row each time, twisting after each is added. I close the ends because it will kinda fall out if you don't.
- Spray top with cooking spray to help it brown pretty.
- Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes.
