Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1½ lbs Italian squash
- ½ can hot tomato sauce
- ¼ tsp sweet basil
- ¼ tsp oregano
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Place olive oil in skillet.
- Add onion, bell pepper and garlic.
- Saute' until onion is golden brown.
- Add Italian squash and cook over low heat about 20 minutes.
- Add tomato sauce, basil, oregano and salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer 10 minutes
