Ingredients
- ¼ lb. sliced dried beef
- ½ c. chopped celery
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (do not dilute)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 4 oz. chow mein noodles
- 1 can peas
- ¼ tsp. garlic
Instructions
- Tear or cut the sliced beef into pieces.
- Cover with boiling water and drain immediately.
- Mix the dried beef with the celery, peas, garlic salt and pepper; mix.
- Arrange alternately layers of noodles and bef mixture in a 1½ qt. casserole, beginning and topping with noodles.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
- May garnish with parsley and pitted ripe olives.
- Serves 6 generously.
