That is not really my stove. However, every night when I cook dinner the smoke alarm goes off and my husband says “Dinner’s ready!” I used to be offended by this but now I realize that it is the smoke alarm, not being a special kitchen smoke alarm that makes it more sensitive to smoke. So if something get’s spilled in the oven, it will go off. Which I guess is a good thing because if there really was a fire, we would be safe.
So this is a safety post to remind you to check your smoke alarms, their batteries and make sure you have enough of them in your house. We have 4 smoke alarms in a 1200 square foot house. So…we….are….goooood.
We also have a carbon monoxide sensor alarm. Those became mandatory for every home on the first of the year. Please be sure to go buy yours. They are pretty reasonable at Walmart. It could save your family members lives.
BE SAFE!

Ive had your cooking and you can COOK! I Now the smoke announcement of dinner being ready, is a regular occurrence here. I knew that I was a bad cook, when I went to Dar’s school to pick him up when he was little and he happily told me he had hotdogs for lunch that day. Then added he liked it even though it wasn’t burned like the ones I make. How can I burn hot dogs all the time, you might wonder? I manage. 🙂

I’ve had your cookin’ girl, and it’s really good. Your lasagna, turkey dinner, and the best spaghetti I’ve ever had, now that’s a feat. I have tried to make spaghetti like yours and it doesn’t compare. Thanks for the compliment…and yes, I’ve burned everything probably at least once.
